I am always looking to validate myself by more learning:  reading, further education, evening classes, on-line courses  ...

It makes sense to keep your skills up-to-date and refreshed especially with the rate of technological change.  Apparently most of the jobs we recognize today won't exist in 30 years' time.  However, too much training smacks of a lack of confidence in our abilities and experience and can be a distraction from focusing on what really matters.

​So as we pause for the August Bank Holiday weekend, before the new school terms starts, and we get back into gear, I remind myself to get on with the job.  Learn by doing.  Try it out.  Don't be afraid to fail,  Just do it.
