Lucy has more than 25 years' professional experience in private companies, public sector and non profit organisations. She has knowledge of creative design, retail, software, financial services, education, real estate and architecture sectors. Often people approach Lucy in a time of crisis - when they are running out of work, profits are low or they are worried about efficiency. With an MBA from INSEAD, a leading business school, Lucy is qualified in strategy, finance, marketing and digital communications and guides and reassures her clients who trust.
As a University of Cambridge qualified, ARB accredited and RIBA chartered architect, Lucy can provide unique and valuable insights to the management of architectural practices and other creative design and professional services firms working in the construction, real estate and property sectors. She has lectured graduate students in business planning and marketing at the University of Cambridge, University College London and Oxford Brookes. She has delivered training and continuing professional development (CPD) for the to the CPD Academy of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) on business planning and practice management. Lucy also studied Real Estate Development and Investment at the University of Reading / Henley Business school.

Lucy has consulted with many SMEs, start-ups and scale-ups providing guidance at significant moments of change such as growing rapidly or when founding directors want to retire and hand over the business to a younger generation. Business planning and commercial strategy are often the starting point for business development to drive revenues. Lucy has delivered a 2 year contract with a UK local government project managing delivery of smart city projects such as autonomous vehicles, heat networks, energy efficient housing and connected transport systems.
Lucy knows all about the changing retail sector and was UK Country Manager for Sephora managing a chain of 10 perfume and make-up stores and Board Member of Le Bon Marche in Paris - part of luxury LVMH group - launching e-commerce and concept fashion stores.
A current contract (2020-2026) to deliver Executive Secretary services to the European Finance Association and EDAMBA, includes event and membership management, book-keeping, social media communication and website updates.
